Our WordPress UK & EuroMillions Results widget lets you show the latest UK Lotto/National Lottery and Euro Millions Lottery results on your Wordpress site. You can see this widget in action on the right of this page. Our widget will pickup the font styling from your template.

Overview

Play the lotto now is one of the premier UK Lotto and Euro Millions portals, we spend a lot of time and effort collecting the latest UK Lotto and Euro Millions Lottery results for our visitors. We decided to offer these simple widgets and website tools so that you can provide your members to enjoy timely lottery results too.

All results are delivered via an xml feed which is cached by the widget every 6 hours to ensure you always have the latest results. This service is provided totally free and new results are published as soon as they become available.

The results that are available are UK Lotto, EuroMillions Lottery, Daily Play, Dream number, Thunderball and Lotto Hotpicks. It's possible to select only the results you wish to display, so using this as a EuroMillions only widget is simple.

How to install

1. Unzip the archive and upload all contents to the 'wp-content/plugins' folder of your WordPress installation directory.

2. Ensure the cache folder inside the lottery plugin folder ('wp-content/plugins/lottery-results/cache') has write permissions - chmod 777 if necessary.

3. Activate the plugin from the Plugins admin page in WordPress. The widget will now be available on the Widget admin page in WordPress. Drag it to the sidebar you wish it do be displayed in and configure the options for the widget to suit your needs.

Options

Widget Settings

There are a number of options for the widget, these are all controlled via the WordPress widget admin page as shown on the right.

You have the ability to select which of the six available results to display, all are displayed by default.

The last two options are regarding the buy tickets link. This link is to take visitors to the National Lottey site where they can purchase tickets. You can choose whether or not to display the link. If you choose to display the link then you may also wish to enter an affiliate link into the URL field, this will then be used enabling you to earn money if a visitor then goes on to purchase tickets online.
